Andrea Will

Andrea Will studied flute at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne (D) with Hans Martin Müller and at the Folkwang-Hochschule in Essen (D) with professor Matthias Rütters. In the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg (D) she also studied culture management.

Andrea is currently active in Bonn (D) as a freelance flutist after many years at the Hofer Symphoniker as assistant solo ute. Together with Hans-André Stamm she presents the concert programme Orgelklang und Flötenzauber. She is also busy with her own ute ensemble RheinFlöten, together with colleagues from the several orchestras in Cologne and Bonn (Beethoven Orchester, Gürzenich-Orchester, WDR Sinfonieorchester) and regular freelancers.

In her role as culture manager at the German Music Counsel Andrea is responsible for stimulating the curiosity and interest for the world of music in the younger generation. This led her to start her own organization 12 years ago, Kinder ins Konzert!, where she arranges concerts and musical theatre expecially designed for children.
